Is it really March already? This year seems to be flying by!

I’ve just added three new patterns to the Store.

Firstly, a beautiful Flower Sampler sofa throw to welcome the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Flower Sampler

The pattern includes eight different flower motifs, gorgeous roses and pretty blooms to crochet. You could also make a cushion to match made entirely of one single flower motif!

Next up a bright funky geometric cushion to add a zap of colour to your living space.
I worked mine in neon yellow and orange along with muted egg yolk yellow and tangerine. A solid purple centre paired with pastel pink balances out the lively colour.

Lastly a snugly blanket worked in striking diagonal lines. Pops of pretty pinks and deep burgundies with a hint of neon pink!

This blanket would look equally lovely worked in more masculine hues.

It’s been such a long time between posts!

2015 was a busy whirlwind of a year!

Emma and Robert were married in August, I’ll share some more photos in another post. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful.

We celebrated my Nan’s 93rd birthday in December. She’s doing wonderfully for 93!

Christmas was lovely. A time to relax and unwind after a busy year.

I have some new patterns in the works which I’m currently writing up, I’m looking forward to sharing them with you very soon!

I’ve de cluttered my bookcase! If you’d like to grab a bargain check back in shortly, I’ll be posting many craft books here in the next post. There may be one or two you’d like. My bookcase was overflowing!

A PDF pattern party soon also for those asking before the launch of my new patterns, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Wishing everyone a fabulous 2016!

Wow! I guess I’ve taken a very long unexpected hiatus. It wasn’t intentional, life got busy I guess.

I feel rejuvenated and ready to move forward!

I’m so happy to be back!

The lovely Natasja of crocheTime recently published her very first ebook!

It is beyond beautiful with 10 fantastic projects to crochet.

The first project is a gorgeous Scarf, aptly named Sunset Shades Scarf. The second project is the Flashy Flower Ring. The third project is a sweet oval Brooch. Project 4 is the Glamorous Granny Square Necklace. A pair a Scottish Square Wristies, inspired by a road trip through Scotland makes project 5. Project 6, a versatile wrap, an all in one, a snood, a shawl, a scarf a wrap! Beadazzling Earrings for Project 7. Project 8, the Hoola Headband. A nifty Drawstring Pouch makes project 9 and a pair of Zig Zag Wrist Warmers completes this fabulous book!

Crochet Pretty

The book opens with a wonderful video, with Natasja explaining how to use/navigate through this multi-touch book.

The instructional videos within the pages makes for a very clever, savvy, 21st century book!

All patterns are written in US terminology, Natasja provides a handy conversion chart for those who prefer working in UK terminology.

The photography through out the book is sublime! You can view all projects over on Ravelry here!

NEW eMag! Spread the word!

An idea came to me a few weeks ago and I’ve been busily working on the foundations behind the scenes.

It’s now time to put it out into the Universe, into the Crochet Community!

The idea is, to compile the best free crochet tutorials/patterns that have been blogged in 2014 into a fabulous emagazine!

The publication will be presented on Issuu for FREE, for all to enjoy.

We are looking to showcase 52 projects!

If you have published a free crochet tutorial/pattern on your blog in 2014 we want to hear from you!

Please email through a link to your tutorial/pattern to, sarahlondontextiles@gmail.com

Our Crochet Community spans very wide, it’s global. This publication is going to be multilingual, so that across all continents we can all enjoy and participate.

English, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, German, Arabic, Japanese, Greek, Chinese, Portuguese, Polish.

If I’ve left out a language then please bring it to my attention. We are looking for submissions, globally! We wish for all languages to be represented.
