My gorgeous girl turns 21 this week! OMG I can not believe it! When she was only 3 1/2 years old she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Her world, our world completely changed in an instant. But I guess that’s a whole other post for another time. Basically her pancreas abruptly stopped producing insulin, so she became insulin dependent. She has an insulin pump now which makes life somewhat easier. Anyway enough of all that, we are celebrating this week – big time. Yes, we do still hold out hope for a cure, oneday, but in the meantime we continue, as always to live life to the fullest!

So to celebrate Emma and I are flying out to Hong Kong later in the week for a spot of birthday shopping!

With a pile of cash to splash, because you only turn 21 once! We fell head over heels in love with the currency when we spied the $500 dollar notes!

We’ve dusted off our passports, suitcases are packed and we are ready to jet!

It will be a few days before we leave so if you were planning on purchasing any PDF Patterns, now is the time, any purchases made whilst I’m away will be delivered upon my return.

x Sarah
