Special . . .

My heart instantly melted on the spot as I was opening this Crochet-a-Rainbow package!

Inside I found lots of gorgeous granny squares hooked by Fiona and her Mum, Maureen, along with a stack of fabulous handmade cards made by Fiona’s class of seven year olds! So precious!

The cards will be enclosed with individual blankets and I know each recipient will appreciate and treasure each card.

A big thank you to Fiona (aka inkberryblue on Ravelry) for scheduling this activity into her class and to the talented seven year olds from Western Australia for caring about others.

  5. Thank you for posting this Sarah. I showed this blog entry to my class this morning and they were absolutely thrilled to see their work and read your kind words. My mum loved being recognised too! We’re all glad, and grateful, that we can do something of comfort even though we live far away.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
