stolen moments . . .

. . . reading poetry.

It began a few weeks ago after the Midday movie, Sylvia, the story of the relationship between poets Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath.

Next up, The Bell Jar.

  1. I’m a Plath fan from way back. After you’ve read ‘The Bell Jar’ you might like to read ‘Letters Home’, a collection of letters written throughout her short but eventful life. Isn’t it strange how new people enter our lives when we are least expecting it (like through a midday movie)?

  2. Sarah my mother is a Ted Hughes expert. She is giving a lecture in August at Cambridge for the Ted Hughes Academics get together which happens every 5 years. Check out her website she has done heaps about the meanings of the Birthday Letters and much more…..ann.skea.com xx
