Last night, rissoles were on the menu and instead of adding my usual into the mix, I added some Dijon mustard, which turned out to be the star ingredient, they were delish! If you’d like to make some mustard rissoles this week here’s what you’ll need:
1 white onion, finely chopped
1 clove of garlic, crushed
600g beef mince
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
a splash of olive oil
Method
Place onion, garlic, mince, mustard and herbs in a large bowl.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix well to combine.
Shape into balls and flatten slightly.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over moderate heat.
Cook rissoles for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked.
