Over the last few days,
we’ve enjoyed the company of others!

we’ve been merry!

I did get to paint my wall in lovely Turquoise!

we’ve travelled!

we’ve feasted!

we’ve exchanged gifts!

I was spoilt beyond words!

but the most precious of gifts I received were from my children, a sparkling heart pendant and a 4 mm crochet hook with my name engraved on it which is priceless!

Looks like a great Christmas – love the idea of a personalized / engraved crochet hook (or knitting needles!), off to google!
G’day Sarah
What a precious gift you have been giving… not only sharing your Christmas with friends & family but to know that your children really put some effort into your gift… personalised ‘named’ crochet hook… now what better gift could you receive… wonderul…
You did well kids…
Pleased you had such a great Christmas… we are getting some glorious rain rain rain… since Christmas Day… couldn’t ask for a more special gift from the heavens… Blessings… B
looks lovely! love your blog and all your crochet projects.
that kitchen aid mixer was made in the town where i grew up!
Oh! Oh! I got a Kitchen Aid Pro mixer this year, too! Mine is silver.
I have wanted one for 10 years. I could never quite justify the expense for myself for some reason. And yours is red, how cool!!
Eventually I’ll get the food processor, too. Mmmm.
What a precious crochet hook given with so much care and love – enjoy making more beautiful things with it ….
ps I’m imagining turquoise walls happening all over Australia and indeed the world – it looks gorgeous!!
Wow you got the trio in one gift, how lucky are you!! Earlier this year I got the KitchenAid Blender, then in the middle of this year I got the Mixer. I have wanted one for a long time, so decided to spoil myself. They look great on the bench, without having to delve into cupboards when they are needed. I got basic white (boring I know, I call it safe) The red would look fantastic with all of your colour. I should say explosion of colour, after you have been painting.
What a beautiful idea is the personalised crochet hook, that truly is an ideal gift for you. That along with your beautiful pendant, I too can understand the depth of your feelings you feel for these treasured gifts from your children and that nothing can compare.
hi Sarah! i just found your blog and i love your designs! your crochet is beautiful! i was wondering what type of yarn you use for most of your blankets? the colors are fantastic!
I wish you a great 2010 full of bright collors and crochet. Full of health, love and peace in you family and that you can bring all those feelings to others.
Much love and have a blessed day
