We spent Saturday by the water, watching the tugboats maneuver the large ships carrying coal in and out of the harbour, we had a lovely lunch on Queen’s Wharf and then we stepped aboard the HMAS Newcastle which was docked in Newcastle Harbour over the weekend, an opportunity to look first hand at what it’s like to live and work on a warship. It was quite an experience!

And, the August edition of Hip to Hook is now circulating in the post. We had a lot of new members this month which was lovely!

I’ll be back tomorrow with September’s Mystery crocheted Motif, I can’t believe it’s the first day of Spring tomorrow!

  1. Its only just Spring there? Wow! Its about to turn into Fall here. Getting much colder out and smells very different. Hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as we enjoyed ours.

  2. Wonderful photos! I am quite inspired by your work. Thank you very much for your tutorials they are a great help for beginners and I am sure for all the pros out there too. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  3. Isn’t it amazing to get into the great big outdoors and see what huge creations might be docked there?

Comparing the differences of scale in various creations is a fabulous way to jolt one’s imagination.

I do look forward to seeing you next mystery post.

    Best wishes.
